August 29, 2009  the Northern Flights Disc Golf Club held our first event: 

the Anderson River Park Summer Swelter

47 people braved the 103 degree heat to help the club raise money to better the sport of  disc golf in our area!

in addition to cash payouts for every division, The Northern Flights Disc Golf Club was able to give away 25 prizes including 2 baskets!!!

Sean Morris took the AM trophy!

Thom Coonan took the ADV trophy!

Jeremy Quimby took the PRO/OPEN title!
